Origin Story

The AUG Contractor was released on November 27, 2013, as part of The Italy Collection in the "Out with the old, in with the new" update. Its design features individual parts spray-painted tan, navy, and dark green, giving the weapon a segmented, utilitarian appearance. The skin's flavor text, "Rona Sabri still hasn't forgiven Sebastien for not selecting her to go after Turner," adds a touch of narrative intrigue.

Drop Chance

AUG | Contractor is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It appeared in the EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Italy Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Consumer Grade skins like Contractor are a small fraction of total package contents. Contractor uses the legacy AUG model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

This Souvenir skin was originally obtained from an EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package, which was awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map. New packages are no longer distributed since the tournament has concluded. Today, buyers acquire copies on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or skin trading sites at listed seller's prices.
