Origin Story

Shadow Daggers | Blue Steel was introduced on September 17, 2015, as part of the Shadow Boxing update. The knife's in-game description, "It has been cold blued," refers to the metal treatment that gives it a darkened, blued appearance. This finish is characterized by its dark bluish-gray steel with subtle hints of deep blue and purple tones, offering a muted aesthetic compared to more vibrant knife finishes. How to Obtain

The Shadow Daggers | Blue Steel can be acquired as a rare special item from opening a Shadow Case. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. Since the Shadow Case is no longer in the active drop pool, new supply primarily enters the market through existing case openings.
