Origin Story

The AUG | Ricochet features a two-tone knotwork pattern, custom painted in dark gray and muted teal. This Mil-Spec rifle skin was introduced to CS:GO on December 8, 2015, as part of The Revolver Case Collection during the Winter Update. It is generally regarded as a budget-friendly option for the AUG, rather than a collector's item or status symbol. Drop Chance

AUG | Ricochet is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. From the Revolver Case: approximately 13.32% per opening (roughly 1 in 8). The 79.92% Mil-Spec tier rate is split across 6 Mil-Spec skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~1.33% from the Revolver Case (about 1 in 75). These per-skin odds assume equal weighting within tier — Valve publishes tier rates but doesn't formally confirm even distribution across skins in a tier.

Float range 0 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($3.27): Crisp, clean colors with strong contrast between the dark grey/black base and the muted teal/blue-green knotwork, showing minimal to no visible scratches.
• Minimal Wear ($0.71): The overall appearance remains very close to Factory New, with only light edge wear starting near barrel tips and rail edges, while the pattern and colors are still vivid.
• Field-Tested ($0.50): Noticeable wear appears along exposed edges and high-contact regions, with areas of the knotwork pattern showing thinning paint and more muted teal segments.
• Well-Worn ($0.38): Heavier wear patches develop with broader edge chipping, and potential bald spots where the base metal tone intrudes, though the knotwork motif remains visible.

Ricochet uses the legacy AUG model, introduced with CS:GO’s Winter Update on December 8, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The AUG | Ricochet is primarily obtained through opening a Revolver Case. Since the Revolver Case is no longer an active drop, new supply enters the market from players opening existing cases. As a Mil-Spec grade skin, it can also be acquired via trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Revolver Case Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, buyers can find the AUG | Ricochet on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various case-opening or skin-trading sites.
