Origin Story

The Bayonet | Lore, released on June 16, 2016, with the Gamma Exposure update, features a custom-painted knotwork design. Its golden blade with green detailing and dark handle echoes the iconic AWP | Dragon Lore, establishing it as a premium knife. This skin is generally considered a high-end, collector and status item within the Gamma knife set. Thematically, it serves as a matching sidearm for players utilizing Dragon Lore or other gold and yellow themed loadouts.

Drop Chance

Bayonet | Lore is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.

Float range 0 to 0.65. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($718.75): The gold blade displays complete knotwork coverage with vivid colors and sharp patterns, showing no visible scratches.
• Minimal Wear ($483.00): The bright gold blade retains clearly defined knotwork, with only minor scuffing beginning on the very tip or fine edge.
• Field-Tested ($365.43): Visible scratches and small patches of exposed metal appear on the gold blade, especially near the tip and cutting edge, while the central knotwork remains mostly intact.
• Well-Worn ($330.94): Significant wear along the blade edges and tip results in larger missing paint spots and heavier scratching, with the knotwork pattern looking more faded.
• Battle-Scarred ($328.27): Extensive chipping and exposed metal cover the blade, with heavily faded gold and partially lost knotwork, particularly near the edges and tip.

Model

Lore uses the legacy Bayonet model, introduced with Gamma Exposure on June 16, 2016. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Bayonet | Lore is obtained as a rare special item from opening a Gamma Case or Gamma 2 Case. These cases are no longer in the active drop pool, appearing instead as rare post-match drops or via the Steam Community Market. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
