This distinctive look was introduced on June 16, 2016, as part of the Gamma Exposure update. Its aesthetic relies on the contrast between the dark base and the vibrant, hand-drawn patterns. The design gives the Karambit a unique visual identity within the game.

Drop Chance

Karambit | Freehand is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.48. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

Model

Freehand uses the legacy Karambit model, introduced with Gamma Exposure on June 16, 2016. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

Knives are an exceptionally rare drop, with a combined chance of approximately 0.26% from any given case. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
